Deirdre Barrett, Ph.D., teaches at Harvard Medical School and the Cambridge Hospital and has practiced hypnotherapy for the last twenty years. She edited Trauma and Dreams (Harvard University Press, 1996) and has authored numerous professional articles and chapters on hypnosis and other areas of psychology. Dr. Barrett is past president of the Association for the Study of Dreams. She has lectured on hypnotherapy in Israel, Kuwait, England and Holland. Dr. Barrett lives and practices in Cambridge, MA.
